Additional Help
A peculiar quirk in our neck of the woods is all the sub-communities that are sprinkled along Hwy. 101 from Port Mellon to Egmont. Walk a half a mile one way out of Sechelt and you're in Selma Park. A half mile the other direction and you've stumbled into West Sechelt, thank you very much. To get an idea of the sheer number of unique neighbourhoods this 86-kilometre stretch of coastline holds, check out the list below! All-caps names are our major centres.
Let's go on a tour, starting at the south-eastern end and working our way to the Earl's Cove ferry terminal at the northwest and see what we end up with:
Whew! That's a lot of communities for a
60 mile stretch. We're possessive about our little corners, and it's
definitely one of the great charms of living here.
